Mountain Bike Tour Sidanalm-Rastkogel Hut No. 420The tour starts at the Penkenbahn mountain station in the direction of the Penkenjoch. Shortly after the bottom station of the Kombibahn Penken, a gravel path leads down into the Horbergtal valley on the right-hand side, past the Horbergbahn to the Hochschwendberg. Once you reach the valley station of the Möslbahn, the path leads uphill to the left. Shortly after the tree line you reach the toll station of the Zillertaler Höhenstrasse. This is where the circular route Sidanalm-Rastkogel Hut No. 420 begins, from which you reach the Rastkogel Hut via the Schaftenheualm and Sidanalm. Experienced bikers can also continue on to the Sidanjoch viewpoint. From there you return to the starting point at the toll station. Then the tour takes you down to Hippach via the Schwendbergstraße. Mountain Bike Tour Melchboden Jausenstation (snack stop)The tour starts at the Penkenbahn mountain station in the direction of the Penkenjoch. Shortly after the bottom station of the Kombibahn Penken, a gravel path leads down into the Horbergtal valley on the right-hand side, past the Horbergbahn to the Hochschwendberg. Once you reach the valley station of the Möslbahn, the path leads uphill to the left. Shortly after the tree line you reach the toll station of the Zillertaler Höhenstrasse. From here it is only 300 altitude meters to the Melchboden snack station. Once there you can enjoy snack break with a breathtaking view. Bike & hike tip: Here you can park your bike and head out on a 3-summit hike. On trail no. 19 you first reach the Arbiskopf (2.133 m), continue on the Rauhenkopf (2.268 m) and then on to the Kreuzjoch (2.336 m). From Kreuzjoch you look down to the Rastkogel Hut, which you reach within half an hour. From there a hiking trail leads back to the Melchboden snack station. Back to the Möslbahn valley station. From here the Schwendbergstrasse takes you down to Hippach. Once there you can return to Mayrhofen via the Zillertal cycle path. Mountain Bike Tour Brindlingalm No. 421The tour starts at the Penkenbahn mountain station in the direction of the Penkenjoch. Shortly after the bottom station of the Kombibahn Penken, a gravel path leads down into the Horbergtal valley on the right-hand side, past the Horbergbahn to the Hochschwendberg. Once you reach the valley station of the Möslbahn, the path leads uphill to the left. After a short ride you reach the Brindlingalm turn-off, where you follow bike trail no. 421 through the forest to the Nasenalm Jausenstation snack station (1,700 m) and further on to the Brindlingalm snack station (1,823 m). Back to the Möslbahn valley station. From here the Schwendbergstrasse takes you down to Hippach. Once there you can return to Mayrhofen via the Zillertal cycle path.
