Do you love nature? Are you a keen athlete? Do you enjoy challenging yourself and pushing your body to its limit? Then the Ultraks trail running race series is perfect for you. Whether you are an amateur athlete or a professional, the different routes offer a suitable level for everyone. "Be part of the action - not merely a spectator" at the first ever Mayrhofen Ultraks. There are three routes to choose from: short, middle and long. Even the short route poses a decent challenge with participants racing a distance of 14km and covering 990 altitude metres. The middle route leads from Mayrhofen to the Penkenjoch, a distance of 30.1km and 1,970 altitude metres. However, the challenge to beat all challenges is the 54.1km long route. It leads from Mayrhofen over the Penken plateau to the peak of the Rastkogel mountain, with the best views in the Ziller Valley. From there, the route descends via the Schwendberg back into the valley. Runners must conquer an amazing 3,830 altitude metres. Whichever route you attempt, you will need plenty of endurance, grit and determination to finish this spectacular trail running event.
